Façade BitTorrent Download

Downloading Façade for free using BitTorrent

The Façade installer is 167MB for Windows, 131MB for Mac — too large for us to put on a server for many people to download at the same time. However there is free, safe, non-spyware software called BitTorrent, a commonly-used program to allow people to download very large files. We have no relationship whatsoever with BitTorrent, we are just offering it as a means to freely download Façade. Read more about BitTorrent here.

Façade for Windows requires XP/2000/ME, on a computer 1.6 GHz or faster, with 256MB or more of RAM and 1.0GB of hard disk space.

Façade for Mac requires OS X 10.3 (10.4 recommended), 2.0 GHz G4/G5 or faster, with 512MB or more of RAM and 210MB of hard disk space.

Instructions:

1. Download and install BitTorrent if you don't already have it.

For Windows we recommend ABC (3.7MB), an open source version of BitTorrent.

For Macintosh we recommend Transmission (640K) or Tomato Torrent (650K), each also open source.

2. Now that you have BitTorrent installed, click the link below to begin downloading Façade. This should activate BitTorrent and begin the download process. It may take a while, even with a broadband connection.

When you first click this link, your browser may ask you to "open" or "save" this BitTorrent file; choose "open".
Once BitTorrent starts up, it may ask you to choose where to save FacadeInstaller1.1b3.exe on your hard drive; choose anywhere you like, for example, the Desktop.

3. Once the installer has finished downloading, double-click it to install Façade. On Windows, the installer may take a few minutes to get started since it's so large, so please be patient.

4. Once Façade is installed, you're ready to play! Double-click the Façade icon on your desktop to launch it.
